Light and delicate frosting that takes less than 5 minutes to make.
Ingredients:
300 g cold cream cheese (I use Philadelphia)
100 g powdered sugar
100 ml cold heavy whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Step 1
Mix together cold cream cheese and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 2
Keep the mixer running add cold heavy whipping cream and mix for a couple more minutes or until you have a nice even and fluffy consistency.
Step 3
Transfer the frosting to the piping bag and decorate the cupcakes.
Notes:
Use cold cream cheese and whipping cream.
To make a butter based cream cheese frosting mix together 300 g cold cream cheese, 100 g soften butter and 100 g powdered sugar until smooth consistency.
