Banana Muffins Recipe

Delicate and fragrant muffins with a little crunch of walnuts.

Ingredients:

1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 large bananas
1/4 cup warm milk
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup walnuts

Step 1

Mix and sift all the dry ingredients together.

Step 2

In a big bowl mash the bananas with a fork, add the melted butter, sugar, warm milk, egg, vanilla extract and mix very well.

Step 3

In a few butchers add the dry ingredients and mix together. (Don’t over mix the dough).

Step 4

Add half of the walnuts and mix again.

Step 5

Fill out the cupcake cups 3/4 of the way up, garnish with the rest of the walnuts and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
