Banana Muffins Recipe

Delicate and fragrant muffins with a little crunch of walnuts.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 large bananas
  • 1/4 cup warm milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cup walnuts

Instructions
 

  • Mix and sift all the dry ingredients together.
  • In a big bowl mash, the bananas with a fork, add the melted butter, sugar, warm milk, egg, vanilla extract and mix very well.
  • In a few butchers add the dry ingredients and mix together. (Don’t over mix the dough).
  • Add half of the walnuts and mix again.
  • Fill out the cupcake cups 3/4 of the way up, garnish with the rest of the walnuts and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
