Method
- Mix together the soften butter and the sugar with a hand mixer.
- Add the egg yolks and mix again.
- Add half of the flour and start mixing with a spatula.
- Add the other half of the flour and start to knead the dough with your hands. The dough should turn out very plastic and not stick to your hands.
- Cut the cookies with cookie cutter and transfer them to the baking sheet covered with parchment paper or Teflon mat. Bake at 355 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
Notes
If you have unsalted butter, add a pinch of salt. To give the cookies a more interesting flavor you can add lemon zest or vanilla extract. You can decorate the cookies with colorful sugar sprinkles.
