These cookies are packed with oats, chocolate chips and have a secret ingredient which makes them crunchy on the outside and keeps them soft and chewy on the inside.
They are so easy to make that and can be a great activity to do with your kids. In fact, my kids did them all by themselves with my supervision, of course!
Ingredients:
200g blended oats (or oatmeal flour)
140g flour
140g almonds flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/3 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
200g soften butter
230g sugar
2 eggs room temperature
2 tsp vanilla sugar
3/4 cup chocolate chips
Step 1
Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together. Add oatmeal flour and give a stir.
Step 2
Beat the soften butter, sugar and vanilla sugar together for a few minutes or until light and fluffy.
Step 3
Add the eggs and whisk until incorporated.
Step 4
Add the butter mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well.
Step 5
Add the chocolate chips and mix one more time.
Step 6
Using about a tablespoon of cookie batter, roll some cookie balls and lay them out on the baking sheet covered with parchment paper or Teflon mat. Push each cookie with the palm of your hand to flatten them a little bit.
Step 7
Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes.

- 200 g blended oats ((or oatmeal flour))
- 140 g flour
- 140 g almond flour
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 200 g soften butter
- 230 g sugar
- 2 eggs (at room temperature)
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
